I'm A DEACON!!

January 13th was my first time passing the sacrement. Confusing but GREAT! I got to pass with my dad. I think we did pretty well. On January 19th I went on my first Deacons campout. The missionaries came and gave us a message. Some of us bore our testimoies. My friend Zac Puzey got up bore his testimony and started to cry. He told us how the gospel has changed his actions, and how much better he is to everyone. Everybody stopped what they were doing to listen and show respect. All 13 deacons. After he finished nobody knew what to say. I had never seen Zac act like that. That night the other deacons were playing basketball. They wouldn't pass the ball to me so after the first game I ran to the Goat milk, inside joke (Hot Chocolate.) I went back down to where they were playing basketball and watched them play. That night we stayed up till 2:00 am. While the leaders were sleeping we talked around the campfire. We all said I'm gonna turn it in for the night. One of the deacons had to use the bathroom. So he tryed to put the fire out but just made it bigger somehow. So we all gathered aroung the fire for about another 1 hour. Then finally we went to our tent and talked about 30 more mins. My friend Zac got hypothermia and had to sleep inside the scoutmasters house. We woke up that morning and packed our stuff and went home. I was so tired. YAWN!

            Today I went jogging with some of my friends. Jorie,Crozman,and Sister Lefler. Sister Lefler came because we stopped to much. I've gotta say she really pushed us. Me and Crozman were ahead most of the time and it was really tiring. At least we could stop for a tiny, but SSSSSHHHHH!! I don't think she knows. We are at Crozman's house eating pancakes for breakfast. They are probably the best pancakes I've evr tasted.

Breakfast

On Monday morning I woke up and wanted to make breakfast. So I thought "pancakes." But then I thought that to ordinary so I made my own recipe of blueberry syrup to go with the pancakes.

1 and a half cup of blueberries

half a cup of water

2 teaspoons of sugar.

Then you stir it until you can't tell that the water and sugar are in there. Then you use a sauce ban and boil it for 5 mins.

I just used pancake batter for the pancakes. It smells like the drink moose, but when you eat it,it tastes like something you would buy at a store. Don't tell anybody it's a Lewis and Miller secret.

Russia

In Jan. we went to Russia. One of the coldest places on earth. The plane ride was 10 hours long. But anything under ten hours of flight I'm okay with. When we got there it was unbelievably cold. Our hotel was only a out a mile away from our hotel. So every morning I would go to a liquor store and get breakfast because the hotels was to expensive. Then we were still dealing with jetlag and we were up at 6:00 AM in the morning wandering around Red Square. We got to see the Kremlin,Ivan the terribles winter home,Cathedral of Christ the savior, and lots of other thing I could go on about. The day before we left we went ice skating. On our ride back home I had the worst plane ride ever because I was about to fall asleep laying down a random man came and said to move my feet. He sat down and fell asleep,and it wasn't even his seat. If you know me I can not go to sleep sitting up. He went to use the bathroom and quickly a layer down acted like I was asleepHe came by and was nudging my feet. Then my dad came in and said he needs sleep.

Cambodia

Earlier in the year we went to Cambodia, and Bangkok with the Hiattes. The Hiattes left earlier than us but on the same day. We took a flight into Bangkok and got in really late. Then the next day we went to the border of Bangkok and went into Cambodia. It took us 12 hours to get to our Cambodia hotel. I finally got my own bed. It had a mosquito net over it which made me feel safe a cozy. Then the next day we saw all the ancient temples,even Angkor Wat. It was a very fun trip. The last day we were there we went a four wheeling tour. When we got back the Hiattes went to the airport to catch there flight to Beijing. When we had to make the 12 hour trip back to Bangkok where we would stay one more night until we went to the airport.

THREE SISTERS

We made a trip recently to New Zealand, and Australia. It was tiring but really fun. We got to do the LUGE in New Zealand where you ride down a hill. We were about to do the swing but it was to expensive. I didn't know by then and was gaining as much weight as I could to go on it. In Australia we got to see one of the most famous places in the world.....the Sydney Operea House!! I answered a question right on a tour bus and got a souvenire from a...... half naked guy. There was another question that he asked. "What is the meaning of,"something. I was about to say I don't know but I thought That would be rude so I didn't. Then he said, "The Answer is I Don't Know." Darn it so close. We had a great time.

Tai O

            We went to Tai O to watch pink Dolphins.
